Anna María Magallón, Associate Producer
Anna María Magallón is an award-winning middle school, high school and community college teacher who is educating leaders for tomorrow. Her awards include: Outstanding Hispanic in Education (2004) by The Modesto Bee, Teacher of the Year (2013) by AMAE of Stanislaus County and the national Maestra de Impacto (2016) by Univision Television Network Award. She was a migrant student who broke through and is now a writer, an actor and community activist with a passion for creating a better world for all. She studied at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting in Hollywood. She holds a B.A. in English with a minor in ESL from UTRGV and an M.A. in Spanish from UC Santa Barbara. She has hosted, produced and written her own shows, empowering her students to do the same. She is the creator of the SABE Parent Institute (Sábados Académicos Bilingües y Educativos), and Versos y rimas Spanish Family Poetry Nights.
